2015 Spring Dance

When spring comes, the birds sing, the butterflies dance, the flowers boom, the trees turn green. Spring is the most beautiful season! And more important, Chinese Spring Festival is also in spring.

2016 Beautiful Hui Teng Xi Le

I went to one of the most beautiful grassland in China, called Hui Teng Xi Le in the summer of 2014. The sky there was so blue and clear, with snow-white clouds. The air was very fresh. I was so happy that I ran and rode on the grassland. The joyful bonfire party and splendid sunrise impressed me most! I'd like to express how grateful and touched I was with the wonderful music.

2017 Dream · Adventure

I had a dream in which Mr. Inomoto, Mrs Chenbing, my friends and I went to the concert. While on our way there, we met the foreign robbers who shot at our car. Being scared, we ran about madly even through Arab, and finally arrived safely at the concert.

The whole dream was full of magic and fantasy, I want to express my feelings in the dream to the music.

2018 Skyline

Once, gazing out of an airplane window, I saw a sea of clouds in the air. How wonderful our nature is!

I recorded the beautiful moment with my Ipad, and was inspired to write music about the sky and nature's grandeur.

2020 Mountain Trip in Late Autumn

In late autumn, QingCheng Mountain is quiet and verdant. Walking in the forest, the brook sounds like a harp, the breeze blow over the gold, red, and green leaves, just like a beautiful painting. I love the scenery, and this is the sound of the forest.

2021 Battle of Gai Xia

The Battle of GaiXia was a last stand fought during the Chu-Han Contention between the forces of Liu Bang and Xiang Yu.

This historical event inspired me to write this new piece. With the blending of classical Chinese instruments and orchestra, the piece shows the grand scene of the battle, heroic figures, their ambition of victory and unifying the country, also my admiration for the spirit of fighting for the ideals.

2022 Battlefield Muster

This piece is inspired by a poem “Po Zhen Zi: To Chen Tongfu” written by Xin Qiji, a Chinese famous poet in Song Dynasty.

“The music played with Guqin is exciting and magnificent, battlefield troops were mustered in autumn”, the piece is about the scene before the war, when the soldiers were mustered on the battlefield. It shows their lofty aspirations and patriotic belief.
